The Feast of the All Hallow's Eve

Monsters range from the mildly scary (starting on level 3) to the down right deadly on level 15.

I would advise you to come out blasting when you first encounter them, until you figure out which ones are witch (sic) !!!

Item prizes are greatly curtailed from last year, and consist mainly of themed burnables and of course the "GPS."  (Great Pumpkin Seeds)

Whoever has the most GPS on a single char at the end of the event (11/1/16) will win a fabulous prize--
and like last year, all GPS will become magical enhancers after the event is over, so keep them safe.

Great Pumpkin Seed prizes.

1st Place 5 DB, 5 GB and 5B gold. (-50 Years, + 250 Hits and cash)

2nd Place 2 DB, 3 GB and 2B gold. (-20 Years, + 150 Hits and cash)

3rd Place 1B gold

An email suggestion equated 20 CON to 1 DB.  Historically -- 1 DB would have been valued at 10 PoY + 10 PoF.  And most valuations had PoY and PoF equal.  So a DB was "worth" 20 PoF.  

Unfortunately

Here -- PoY takes an INT (not a CON) so a DB is worth 10 PoY + 10 PoL  

So If someone really doesn't want the DB -- then I will exchange 1 DB for 5 PoF and 5 assorted non-CON stats.  GB would go for 2 CON  and 3 other stats.  I will not be offering any exchange for the cash.

For those who don't like the exchange rate, then take the prize as offered.

And please keep in mind that the GPS themselves are going to transform into magical enhancers after the contest. I will grant them a slightly longer shelf life but they will be USE or LOSE by NOV 18th.

Last year they were +1 CON, -26 weeks and +5 hits. I would expect something similar this year.

I will be pulling the plug on the special encounters this evening between 8 pm and midnight EASTERN.

Breaking with last year: I will tell you now that the Great Pumpkin Seeds will transform into after the contest results are tallied. In looking over the players-- I see a bunch of chars that are low on hits and high on age and some that are even down stats. So...

GPS = 1 INT 1 WIS 1 CON 1 CHA -4 years and + 15 hits. NOTE for those of you with maxed stats-- you can combine with a Potion of Youth (first) and the GPS will give you your stat back for a total de-age of 5 years.

The annual Great Pumpkin Seed contest is over.  The seeds have been tallied, and the results are posted in the stat lesson.

The server is a bit busy at the moment-- but first thing tomorrow I will transform the GPS into their magical state, and you should feel free to use them up.

REMINDER:

ALL Holiday items should be used/sold by NOV 8.  EXCEPT Great Pumpkin Seeds which will have a drop dead date of NOV 14.
