CHEST CASH DIMINISHED

Five fights today on 9,11,11A and my total cash achieved was like I was running level 1. An average of less that $400 per fight/chest for these deeper levels.

I ran level 1 then and the cash rewards seems normal there - actually larger than on the deeper levels. Is this an intentional change?

I just finished running 14 n 15 and brought up 5.02 Meg. There still seems to be a problem with money in chests.

Also noticed that I did not find a single item, even running level 1 for 5 minutes.

I just ran for 30 min and didn't make enough cash to do levels. I ran 14 and opened about 30 chests - found 2 items, one was cursed. Hit mobs that normally drop at lest 1M, and they were dropping like 200 - 300 gold (Alchemist, Corsairs, etc). Game not very playable as it is ATM. Hope it can be fixed.

this issue is tied to the repeating encounter problem. Jude will get it fixed soon. Ya'll can either take a break or just build non boxing chars for a bit. I am quite sure there is enough gold floating in the economy that a day of building without cash coming in won't break anybody's bank account.

I spoke to Jude, and he confirms that he will fix this problem tonight, barring some cataclysmic event like the sun getting blotted out of the sky today, or something.

Encounters with boxes are all nerfed to have about 400 gold in them.

Encounters without boxes appear to be normal.

Is this more of the law of unintended consequences?

Any word on when this will be fixed?

Chests should be back to normal. I just ran down to the depths, cleared a boxed encounter, and got a decent gold drop.

It would have been very easy to simply roll back the fix that caused this issue, but instead I kept the fix (which was needed) and independently patched the gold issue it inadvertently caused.

And there was great rejoicing in Mudville!
