Dex Question
I have not noticed any real difference between a 36 dex and a 33 dex on SSR my lvl 384+ Scavie. This includes boxing as well as leading. I decided to go with Gloves of Silence over WFG for that reason. I cannot afford to carry the GoS loose as they will surely be stolen when I run 13 and 14. I experimented with WFG carrying Thief's Gloves. I lost three sets. Could someone look into this and give us a definitive answer. If it turns out dex has little or no impact on leading, being surprised, or boxing, then the player will "know what to do."
Thanks
Hugh

Re: Dex Question
Just to add more information:I spent most of the day running 7 to build up my Ninja. I would like to know why a lvl 385 Scavie with a 36 dex is only + on trapped boxes on that lvl. Thanks

Re: Dex Question
There has been some work done on this recently.
First off, with your 36 vs 33 dex, you should be seeing about 5% better boxing across the board with the current boxing formula. Noticeable? Maybe not, especially since the displays for boxing accuracy (++, +, etc.) are quite coarse.
Regarding the 'why' regarding boxing performance of your scavenger--we need to improve the progression formula. We don't know what the original formula is/was, and no one is sharing that information with us. Unfortunately, we have to get there by trial and error. I'm not trying to actively nerf scavengers--I'm trying to guesstimate a formula and parameters for boxing. It's probably too lean for mid level scavengers at the moment, based on the two pieces of feedback I have thus far. I'll be changing the formula soon--say tuned.

Re: Dex Question
Okay thanks for the response. I should be ++ on 7 at level 385 with a 36 dex. I look forward to seeing the changes.
Re: Dex Question
Jude,
Thanks for the effort! With some feedback and tweaks you will get it there I am sure.

Re: Dex Question
Cudo's to someone. I came back in the game tonight and once again on 7 with my Ninja, my Scavie went from + to ++ on trapped boxes. Will report more as I go deeper. Thanks.

Re: Dex Question
Ran 14 for a spell last night. On lvl 14 traps I was getting two bars and a plus minus. That means the char doesn't have a clue. Lvl 386 36 Dex Scavie.
