Water encounter on 2 missing data

There is an encounter in the water on level 2 which has 1 Aquamancer in slot 1 Stirfins or Mirfins in slot 3 and nothing in slot 2. The game freezes for the party. No keystrokes work. The only way out of this encounter which I have found so far is to click with the mouse on the redX box (upper right corner) which closes the client. After logging back in the encounter is no longer there. This has happened 4 times.since I started playing again 3 weeks ago.

I will look into this. This problem was reported, and believed to be fixed some time ago. Obviously, I was wrong in thinking I had slain this particular bug.

There is also an encounter like this on ST5.. no keys work.. you have to close all clients and re-enter

I found a potential problem on ST5.

It should not have caused a lockup-- but perhaps.

In case the data is still caling on other tables, I added in some encounters on the most likely culprits.

If you suddenly see Zurfins on ST5-- let me know. That would indicate that my suspected problem is still a factor.

Indeed Zurfins were there on the one that was causing the freeze up.

okay that shows us the cause of this issue. I'll put my little helper, jude onto the case at once.

ST5 has a similar issue where you land from ST4. This is the only place I have had this happen on ST5. No data in slot 1. slots 2. and 3. have pelagons and hatchlings

I have combed thru the files on ST 3-6. There simply is no such encounter there. It isn't that I disbelieve you, but rather I have no idea where to look to fix this thing.

Should you find this again... get me all the data you can. X Y cords (on Jakes maps) numbers of mobs in each slot, and zip in and out several times to try and make sure you have the correct ID on each. I am unsure what this is going to do to help me-- but perhaps something. I am hoping once Jude eliminates the off the reservation roll glitch we will see this problem gone.

OK, thanks. I will write down what is in each slot next time as the game freezes for me when I hit this enc. on ST5 and file a more accurate (if possible) report next time it happens.
