Stuck in a room

Not sure if this is a glitch or intentional, but I am stuck on level 9 in a 6 square room that has no exits and is Anti-Magic. Not sure what to do. I'm not completely sure where I am on the level but It looks close to the stairs from level 8. Please advise. The room will not re-pop so I can die and have a city guard rescue. Thank you

I was not able to verify (with a seeker) what level his chars are on until I got to lvl 5. "Player is 4 levels below you"
I thought the locate spell covered more territory.
My party is not strong enough (lvl 100-120) to go to 9 (6 is the deepest I go presently) or I would have been able to determine his chars x,y coordinates. Reminds me of walking into an area that was supposed to be solid rock (but wasn't) with no exits here a few years ago.
